Thank you to the community for your generosity in helping us meet the urgent needs requested due to COVID-19.
Linens, towels, and blankets are among our family shelters’ greatest needs. We provide new supplies for all incoming residents at our shelters and encourage our clients to keep these items when moving out into their own homes. This means that we are constantly in need of new bedding, towels, and household supplies.
LifeMoves has received a bountiful amount of the crucial items previously sought, but now we are in critical need of meals across our various sites.
We urge you to consider providing or sponsoring a meal as LifeMoves relies heavily on our generous meal volunteers to provide meals to the 1,200+ clients across our shelter and service sites. With our modified and restricted meal programs, our costs to provide just one meal have risen to, on average, $1,000 per site.
With numerous sites and programs across the Bay Area, we are in constant need of basic items for the families and individuals we serve.
You can help provide these essentials by 1) purchasing items directly from our Amazon wishlist or 2) purchasing brand-new and unused items in-store (based on the wishlist) and scheduling a drop-off appointment. This list is updated frequently to reflect our current needs.
