The Outreach Case Manager will work in and around Millbrae, and the Millbrae Bart Station, identifying individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness residing in the specified location and places not meant for human habitation. The Outreach Case Manager will utilize case conferencing/multi-disciplinary Team meetings to engage with clients and connect them to services.

LifeMoves is seeking a highly motivated Motel Coordinator to serve our clients. Under the supervision of the Associate Program Director, motel coordinators act as strong supports and advocates for clients, with the ultimate goal of ensuring their health, safety, and basic needs are met through unprecedented times. Their responsibilities include arranging motel stays for program participants, as well as assisting the Program Director to maintain the ongoing operations of program services.

The Motel Coordinator’s primary role and responsibility is to provide safety supervision of program participants; and work collaboratively with partnering staff at motel locations. The Motel Coordinator is the liaison between the program at the motel location and the motel establishment. Successful Motel Coordinators will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and diplomatic limit setting. Duties include but are not limited to: client exit and entry supervision, monitor client activities ensuring program rules are abided, answering phones, accepting donations and helping maintain cordial neighborhood relations.

LifeMoves and Operations-Food Services are seeking experienced individuals for the position of Food Service Coordinator to perform a variety of work, which may include preparing, serving, and storing food; assisting in maintaining the kitchen and other dining areas in a clean and sanitary condition; performing routine tasks related to delivering food and supplies; and possibly serving food at several shelter sites.  Successful hires will be placed in under the Food Service Manager and may be assigned to our South Bay shelter sites and may be asked to provide coverage for our North Bay shelter sites

This position will cross train with food service operations and will assist with other operational functions as needed.

LifeMoves and Operations-Food Services are seeking experienced individuals for the position of Lead Cook to perform a variety of work, which may include preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in large quantities; checking portioning and garnishing of food, and ensuring that it is served correctly and according to instructions; operating and cleaning a variety of kitchen equipment; calculating ingredients needed; receiving and storing food; training new cooks; mentoring students, and/or interns; supervising the work of and working alongside client helpers, assisting with menu planning and recipe development; and cleaning the kitchen and dining room.
