This summer, hundreds of children in interim housing or struggling families risk missing out on the joy, connection,
and opportunities their peers experience. Many of their parents are working hard to secure stable jobs and housing.
Just like every family, they need a supportive community around them.
At LifeMoves, we know it takes a village. While parents focus on rebuilding their futures, camp gives their children a
safe, joyful space to grow, play, and heal. It’s a haven from life’s uncertainties, fostering hope, resilience, and the
confidence to take on a new school year.

- Kids get one week or more of camp joy, building
friendships and feeling seen. - Teens become mentors, gaining work experience
and becoming role models. - Families receive support and connection, easing
their journey toward stability. - Camp helps children return to school with renewed

Without enough donations, we simply can’t run all our programs. In the past, we’ve had to cancel
camps because of the lack of funding.
