This year, LifeMoves hosted our largest Summer Adventure Camp yet—welcoming 115 campers into a season filled with learning, laughter, and growth.
Our incredible team made it all possible: 13 Children’s Services Coordinators, 9 Program Leads, 6 Lead Volunteer Counselors, 10 Nutrition Coordinators, and more than 75 high school volunteer counselors guided and supported campers every day.
Campers enjoyed exciting field trips to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, San Francisco Zoo, Academy of Sciences, and Sky Zone. Themed lunches—like Krabby Patty sliders, butter chicken with naan, and octopus cinnamon rolls—made mealtime extra fun. Hands-on art and science projects included paper mâché planets, Alka-Seltzer rockets, and solar system sun catchers. Weekly themes like Movie Week and Animal Week brought joy through books, games, clay animal crafts, yoga, and more.
