LifeMoves Summer Adventure Camp is seven weeks of fun, engaging, and educational activities for children experiencing homelessness at LifeMoves shelters.
LifeMoves | Summer Adventure Camp stems from our year-round educational programming which aims to engage children in fun science, technology, engineering, and math activities.
The camp is staffed by volunteer high school students, who serve as Camp Counselors, and college interns, who serve as Camp Program Leads, all of whom are supervised by LifeMoves employees. Each year’s team of Program Leads and Counselors dedicate thousands of hours to create a supportive and exciting summer experience for campers.
Support LifeMoves Summer Camp!
Help give our campers a summer to remember by donating items, snacks, or funds.
All donations must be new items, no gently used items will be accepted.
For children’s group activities:
Arts & Crafts Supplies:
Colored markers & pencils
For each individual summer camp participant:
Bottle of sunscreen
Drawstring or small backpack
Large towel/beach towel (water activities at the shelter – no swimming this year)
Help provide daily snack bags or once per week lunches for our campers! Each snack bag donation will need to feed between 25-50 children each day and should be donated directly to the shelter of your choice.
Summer Adventure Camp is only made possible by private donations from the community. $500 covers the cost of one child to attend the full seven-week camp.
