Celebrating Over 15 Years of Dedication | LifeMoves Skip to main content

At LifeMoves, we are fortunate to be surrounded by extraordinary individuals whose generosity shapes our community. Christine Taylor is one such person.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Christine has called San Mateo County home for over 30 years—and for much of that time, she has been making a profound impact. Her journey with LifeMoves began in 2009, serving meals with Menlo Church and later New Community Church. When the Menlo Park community closed, Christine and co-leader Sally Marsh continued at Maple Street Shelter (now our Navigation Center), preparing breakfast every Sunday. For Christine, it’s always been about connection: “We learn about their joys, their struggles, and sometimes they even ask us to pray with them. Those moments are deeply meaningful.”

Beyond meals, she’s furnished homes, donated food, and supported our Benefit Luncheon.

Christine embodies the spirit of service—reminding us how one person’s compassion can inspire many.
