Funding
LifeMoves summer internships are unpaid due to the constraints of a nonprofit budget. However, we realize that taking an unpaid internship is not financially feasible to all college students. To make our internships more accessible, we offer a $100 a week stipend to help our interns cover expenses. Several departments are also exploring flexible scheduling so unpaid interns are able to support themselves in other ways. We also partner with many colleges and universities who provide summer funding for their students to do internships in the nonprofit sector. Check in with your college’s career center, community service center, or public service career advisor to see if they can offer you funding for a summer internship at LifeMoves.
