We’re thrilled to share exciting progress on two new LifeMoves Homekey communities that are helping families and individuals leave homelessness behind.
LifeMoves and the County of Santa Clara have been awarded state Homekey funding to build and operate Homekey Santa Clara—a new interim housing community for families experiencing homelessness. The site will feature 30 units with private bedrooms, serving up to 120 parents and children. LifeMoves will provide various services from housing navigation to education and more. This milestone expands our growing network of Homekey communities—we’re building brighter futures for families across Silicon Valley.
Meanwhile, at LifeMoves Branham Lane in San Jose—the city’s largest interim housing community—we’ve already welcomed 187 residents since opening in February 2025. We are creating a true community where people can work towards stability. Clients have access to intensive case management, employment and benefits specialists, daily meal services, laundry facilities, and even amenities for their furry companions—like dog showers and a dog run. The serenity room offers a quiet space to recharge, and our newly added food pantry is already helping residents meet their nutritional needs.
As the newest LifeMoves community, we’re seeing our clients taking promising steps towards a brighter future. Thanks to the dedication of our employment specialist, several clients have secured jobs, and others are actively connecting with the Office of Supportive Housing of Santa Clara County for housing opportunities. At LifeMoves Branham Lane, every small victory brings us closer to lasting stability for the people we serve.
Together, these two communities represent our bold vision to expand housing across Silicon Valley—and to help more of our neighbors reclaim their futures with dignity, safety, and hope.
