Santa Clara, Calif. — LifeMoves, Silicon Valley’s largest provider of interim and supportive housing, announced the recent appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors. These accomplished leaders bring deep expertise across healthcare, real estate development, technology and communications, further strengthening the organization’s governance as it scales solutions to end homelessness across the region.
“This incoming Board cohort reflects where LifeMoves is headed, strengthening our ability to grow thoughtfully, partner boldly and deliver solutions that change lives,” said LifeMoves CEO Aubrey Merriman. “Bonnie Panlasigui, Jane Vaughan and John Earnhardt each bring a unique lens that will help us strategically expand our impact and meaningfully contribute to the regional homelessness crisis response at scale. Together, we’re advancing a future where stable housing opens the door to lasting opportunity for families across Silicon Valley.”
Bonnie Panlasigui, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, serves as Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Kaiser Permanente’s Santa Clara Service Area, where she oversees, in partnership with The Permanente Medical Group, more than 6,500 employees and hospital operations that serve over 400,000 members. She brings nearly 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently as President of Summa Health System Hospitals in Akron, Ohio.
Throughout her career, Panlasigui has driven exceptional performance by fostering high-reliability safety cultures, enhancing patient experience and advancing initiatives to address healthcare disparities. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree from George Washington University. She also serves as a Governor on the Board of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
“Housing stability and health are deeply connected,” Panlasigui said. “Throughout my career, I’ve seen how safe, stable housing shapes long-term wellbeing. I’m proud to join the LifeMoves Board and contribute to an organization that is advancing whole-person care and strengthening communities across Silicon Valley.”
Jane Vaughan is a Partner at Menlo Digital, where she leads the firm’s national data center platform, overseeing site planning, entitlements, power procurement and construction management across key markets including Silicon Valley, Northern Virginia and Phoenix.
With more than 25 years of experience in complex real estate development, Vaughan has delivered over 10 million square feet of projects nationwide, including a 1.65 million-square-foot technology campus in Santa Clara, now home to Palo Alto Networks’ global headquarters. She holds degrees in civil and structural engineering and an MBA with honors from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
A longtime community advocate, Vaughan previously chaired the board of Goodwill San Francisco and has led transformative real estate initiatives for nonprofits serving vulnerable populations.
“I’ve spent my career building complex infrastructure, and I see stable housing as the most critical infrastructure of all,” Vaughan said. “LifeMoves’ data-driven approach and commitment to scalable solutions deeply resonate with me, and I’m honored to support this work at such a pivotal moment.”
John Earnhardt brings more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of media, politics and technology. His career spans senior roles at Cisco and Visa, where he led corporate communications, C-suite engagement, crisis management and brand journalism initiatives.
Earnhardt previously worked on national political campaigns and in media relations before transitioning to corporate leadership. Today, he advises high-growth companies across AI, venture capital and technology sectors. He currently serves on the Martis Camp Foundation Board and the Wake Forest University Board of Visitors.
“Storytelling and leadership matter, especially when addressing complex challenges like homelessness,” Earnhardt said. “LifeMoves pairs innovation with compassion in a way that drives real results, and I’m excited to bring my experience to help elevate the organization’s impact and visibility.”
“Bonnie, Jane and John join us at a pivotal moment, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome their leadership,” said LifeMoves Board Chair Melissa Selcher. “Each brings not only deep expertise, but a shared commitment to building a future where more people can find stability, dignity and a place to call home. Their leadership will help us grow our impact and imagine what’s possible for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.”
