While there are some relative bright spots, including a universal tax deduction for charitable giving, the OBBBA falls far short of meeting the growing needs of the public benefit sector to fill gaps unmet by government and the private sector. The bill ultimately reduces critical resources, taking away healthcare and food assistance from millions.
